Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is my great honour and priviledge that AFCC 2018 will be taking place in Bangkok on 28th September – 1st October 2018 with a Pre-Congress session on 27th September 2018. Thailand is one of the founding members of the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology along with Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore.
Our field has come a long way since the first meeting of the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology in 1975, and congresses like the forthcoming AFCC 2018 have played a major role in strengthening AFC objectives. The 23rd ASEAN Federation of Cardiology Congress (AFCC 2018) will carry on the tradition of bringing together the region’s veteran cardiologists and young professionals, along with the leading lights in the field from around the world, to participate in a comprehensive program of plenaries, symposia, meet-the-expert sessions, pre-congress workshops and oral & poster presentations.
AFCC 2018 will also present outstanding opportunities for the world’s top med-tech companies to unveil their latest cutting-edge products and updates as well as conduct educational programs. Our always vibrant social program provides yet further opportunities to network and make new contacts as well as catch up with friends and associates.
Thailand is a charming country with a rich history, diverse cultures, world-renowned cuisine and hospitality, friendly people, and some breathtaking destinations for a well-deserved pre- or post-congress holiday.
